Shadow whispered: I don't want to lose you or the others either but I don't have a choice. The soldier then tried to get Sonic off of Shadow, it worked but Sonic stood beside Shadow, not budging.

I don't want to lose you or any of my other friends. After that, I tried to not get too attached to anyone but Tails, you and my friends came into my life. No one knew how it happened, I never knew how it happened. It occurred in the road killing them instantly. I was out in another town, my siblings were in Westopolis when there was an explosion. Me, my sister and brother we heard the news later after she was found. I never knew who my father was and I never told you this but when I was five, my mom had drowned in a lake. A GUN soldier got close to Sonic and tried to ease him away from Shadow but Sonic refused to leave Shadow's side. Sonic held on to Shadow's arm, tightly but not in a harmful way. Some GUN soldiers came into the room surrounding the two hedgehogs. Shadow was clearly afraid since he knew that Commander towers was gonna kill him. Now it was just Sonic, Shadow and Commander Towers. Gary and Jerry were no longer in the lab. Sonic: you spaced out there for a few minutes. Sonic waved his right hand in front of Shadow's face. It wasn't his fault though, he was under mind control. The only thing he remembered was waking up in Sonic's room, he had a major headache, it hurt him so bad that he had no choice but to cry out, he couldn't remember anything else. It was no wonder he couldn't remember much before the battle. Commander Towers was watching him the whole time he was under mind control. He then realized that he was under mind control before the battle. It was then that Shadow knew why Commander Towers wanted him dead, it was all because Shadow had crashed into that building and possibly made those few fires. Shadow just then realized that the terrorist attack was the one when he was thrown out in space. Shadow didn't want to die at least not yet, Sonic needed him same for the world. Sonic looked into Shadow's eyes and caught Shadow's fear. Sonic felt like Shadow was looking at him so he looked back at him. He tried not to show it but his eyes clearly showed his fear. Sonic wasn't looking at the time when the commander did the death stare. Way worse than being locked away in isolation, He knew Commander Towers still wanted him gone, gone forever.

He gave Shadow the death stare only for a second.
